Women usually get the help of plastic surgeries to look and feel better. However, there are many cases where women choose to undergo the medical procedure for all the wrong reasons. Here are five reasons why women SHOULD NOT undergo plastic surgery.
Being pressured into plastic surgery: It is important to be in harmony with yourself and when seeking plastic surgery, the patient must be convinced that this is what she wants and not what their peers or spouses desire. In such situations it is best not to undergo the procedure as dissatisfaction with the result is a high possibility even when the surgery is done perfectly.
2- Using plastic surgery as a fix:. A woman will come and seek plastic surgery because she is coming out of a divorce and she feels that she has wasted her youth and now it is time to make up for lost beauty. Some other times women will ask for "urgent' liposuction because they s suspect their husband is having an affair. In both instances, plastic surgery is used to fix an unpleasant emotional situation and this will only make matters worse.

3- Being fixated on a particular look: It is OK to use a photograph of a model or actress to tell your surgeon what kind of look you have in mind when it comes to your result. However, it become unfavourable when the patient is “obsessed” with a certain look. This will often lead to a viscous cycle of operation and reapportion that could have serious health implications.

4- Having no idea what you want: Women seeking plastic surgery should have clear goals of what they are trying to achieve. It could be seeking to remove excess skin from their tummy or getting rid of that hump on their nose. Going into consultation with a plastic surgeon and asking for the menu can have a disastrous outcome.

5-Being obese: Contrary to popular belief, plastic surgery is not a magical weight loss solution. When plastic surgeons talk about body contouring, they talk about sculpting and defining a beautiful figure. Body contouring surgery and even liposuction should be offered to patients that are within an acceptable weight for their height but still have localised problem areas.
