Be it a delicate blush or a bright fuschia or something in between — designers are in the pink this resort season.

Spring's hottest hue is pastel pink, also known as the new black!

From pale blush tones to dusky hues, the colour has received a fashion makeover for this season. As an adult, it will be hard not to fall in love with the girly colour all over again, and it might convert hard pink sceptics.

We saw pink all over the runways – from Valentino’s Spring 2017 bright pink collection and Jil Saunder’s metallic palettes to the Dolce & Gabbana pink sparkly sequinned 2016 – 2017 resort trend collection.

Here are seven ways to incorporate pink into your summer wardrobe:

Embrace the sport luxe trend with a pink bomber paired with white sneakers and a fitted dress for a fun sporty look.

Dip your toes into the trend by injecting pink into your footwear. Pair them with jeans and a neutral top for an easy minimalistic look.

Step into a girlie silhouette or fun and flirty crochet summer dress perfect for a date night or wedding vibes.

Master the art of colour by adding multiple pops of pink into your look. Accessories are a great way to add a touch of pink while keeping the rest of your outfit in muted tones.

For a bold fashion statement, go monochromatic. Take Bonang’s cue and wear pink from head to toe. To add more texture to your look, go for different shades of pink.

Pink can work for the office too. Opt for an off-the-shoulders top. It can be dressed down with jeans and neutral heels, or dressed up with a pencil skirt and a jacket. Look out for simple shapes. This combination can be a punchy office summer look.

It’s time to rethink pink, leave your preconceptions at the door and try it out this spring.
