launch of driverless flying cars in Dubai

Dubai skies are set to be buzzing with driverless flying autos inside months, the emirate's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) reported on Monday, in what will stamp a different universe's first for the city.

The RTA, as a team with the Chinese firm Ehang, has completed the main trial of an independent elevated vehicle (AAV) equipped for conveying a human, the Ehang 184, and the expert said it is set to dispatch operations soon.

The flying auto was shown at the World Government Summit in Dubai this week and the head of the RTA said a mid year begin date for flights is imagined.

For Dubai resident, the opportunity to beat the congested roads in a flying auto is most likely something many have imagined about. Also, now it looks set to wind up distinctly a reality.
