The meaning of KholKhal!

The kholkhal is a traditional jewel for women, a kind of bracelet for feet that goes to the ankle. This golden Berber jewelry was part of the dowry offered by the man to his wife. The pair of bracelets weighed a kilo a whole. These jewels are part of a courtship ritual.
