Launch of the"Tunisia Breathes" event - A day without cars

The Minister of Transport, Mr. Anis Ghadira, accompanied by Mr. Hisham Ben Ahmed, the State Transport Secretary this morning, marked the launch of the "Tunisia Breath" event on Sunday, without a car at the level of Mohamed V, Habib Bourguiba and 14th January Square.

A number of the directors-general and the ministry's senior officials participated in the opening of the event organized by the ministry's moderator in coordination with the state of Tunis and the municipality of Tunis. In cooperation with the French organization "Kudato" in support of urban transport, Tunisian post, Tunisian scouts, national traffic safety observatory and representatives of the public and private sectors. 20 associations through the leadership of a number of bicycles in the courtyard of 14 January and the Minister and the State Secretary had the opportunity to participate in this activity.

During his speech, the Minister of Transport highlighted his keenness to ensure the success of this important event, which aims to re-employ public spaces and strengthen non-motorized mobility and public transport.

Mr. Anis Ghadira explained that this event will enable the reduction of gas emissions and strengthen the relationship between the Tunisian citizen and the public transport means of public and private.
